A numbing cream is applied to help with pain control. Our staff will communicate with you throughout the process to ensure you’re comfortable. We will alter the needle depth in step with the area being treated.
Your face and neck could be red like a sunburn for 24 to 48 hours, but the redness will subside on it’s own. Some patients with more sensitive skin may also experience pinpoint microbruising, which will go away within 24 hours.
You will notice fresher, younger, glowing skin as your growth factors regenerate and revitalize your skin.
Depending on the texture of your skin and how much scarring and sun damage you have, most patients will need at least one to two PRP or PRF microneedling treatments per year. If you have any acne scarring or other texture issues, you may need to get one treatment a month for three months, after which you can go down to one to two treatments per year for maintenance.
