There are a few of things that you should be aware of before your Morpheus8 appointment with us to help better prepare you for your treatment:

• Avoid aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen one week before your treatment day to minimize bruising risks.
• Avoid retinol products, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, etc.
• Avoid exposure to the sun or tanning (including tanning beds and self-tanners) for at least 24 hours before your treatment.

All patients will be provided with aftercare instructions, but just to give you a heads-up, here are some post-procedure instructions:

• Wait 1-2 days before applying makeup to the treated area
• There will be some redness and microlesions at the treatment site; this is normal.
• Keep the treated area moisturized
• Keep the treated area out of direct sunlight. (a full-spectrum sunscreen can be used to keep sunlight off of the area)

Morpheus8 will have permanent results when you maintain collagen production with regular annual sessions.

As new collagen takes time to form, you’ll see some results within a few days of your first treatment, but you’ll see full results after three months.
